So much been going on............

Saturday 15th

Daughters birthday, she had a great day, lots of pressies and a small birthday tea.

Sunday 16th

Client early in morning. Party at 12 noon. Lots of kids, lots of adults, about 50 in total, lots of alcohol consumed - not by me working early on Monday am. Lots of juice also consumed. Ice cream cake very well received - thank you to Bernie for making it for us.

Friends from UK arrived, not seen them in 7 years, seems like I saw them only last week.

Last people finally left about 10pm. V long day.

Monday 17th

Work in am and then much cleaning and tidying up. Off to Manly in evening to spend with friends.

Tuesday 18th

Trip on Ferries to Circular Quay for lunch and then to Darling Harbour. Back to Manly for a takeaway and then home by 11pm. Stopped on way for fuel and then charged 2.5% for using Amex. Not happy cos not told about it. - Never mind.

Wednesay 19th

Can't remember.

Thursday 20th

Busy day at the Easter show. Very hot and very long day. Saw lots of good stuff though. The kids really enjoyed it. Most of the contents of the showbags broken before we got home. Had major headache though so straight home to be for me.

Easter Sunday

Easter bunny came, twice, once in morning for my kids and again in the evening for my friends kids. Nasty chocolate and some yummy chocolate.

Easter Monday

A trip to the Blue Mountains to see The 3 Sisters, the skyway freaked me a bit but not as much as the huge spider that was in the cable car. The rain held off until the journey home. Got caught up in an 11km traffic jam. Consoled with wine and Indian when got home.

Today

Been to Physio, still got a headache, some tightness in my neck and he wants to see me again on Thursday or Friday.

Sent my son to school today as we not doing anything much, he is not too happy about it but tough, he can have a day off with our friends again tomorrow and then back to school on Thursday for an excursion to the zoo.

I just had to write it down

My kids have come out with some classics lately.

In all the rushing around and tidying up, Miss T (4) saw a photo of our wedding. She asked, "Where did you get our daddy from? I told her we met in a pub. She asked, "Did he not belong to someone else?" I don't know what she 's heard but it's not true?

Miss C (2, almost 3) made overly loud comments about the smell of a public toilet. The previous user had not yet left and I had to stifle loud laughter. Miss C was not very subtle or polite.

Later she said she is ready for another baby now. I told her there were no babies left in my tummy. She said that we would go to the park and get one to put in there. Again, I don't know what she's heard but it's not true!!

Jumping Castle - check
Helium - check
Balloons - check
Chiro - ouch
Lollies - check
Wine - not yet but yes please.

Back to it..........

Busy, Busy, Busy

The next few days are going to be so busy for me. My youngest daughter is 3 tomorrow and we are having a party for 50ish people on Sunday.

Today will involve, picking up a jumping castle, helium for the balloons, cleaning, preparing food (where possible) more cleaning, putting together a bike (don't tell her) wrapping presents (last minute again) shopping for more food and alcohol, the fruit is being delivered tonight so I don't need to worry about that. I have to fit in a chiro appt, write my programs for Sunday morning. Get kids to school and collect from school (3 different schools). Attend a fund raising fun night tonight at preschool, all the while thinking, I have so much to do. Jon is at a soccer meeting tonight, and playing soccer tomorrow afternoon, which means tomorrow evening he will not be wanting to help with anything.

Did I mention the cleaning actually involves removing plaster dust from every surface in the house, cos we are in the middle of some renovations.

Somewhere we need to fix or get our phone fixed it has not been working for about 5 days now, thankful for mobile phones.

Gym and exercise, where to fit in, no idea, I think the rushing and stressing will burn several calories.

Actually any lower body or cardio other then 'gentle bike' has been ruled out. Apparently on Tuesday, by crossing my legs, I displaced my knee cap. It is not too happy about that. The pain was huge, but just as quickly as it arrived it disappeared again, almost exactly 24 hours after it started, my physio thinks it just popped back. The muscles are still in spasm, but the pain is no where near as bad.

Our visitors from the UK, arrive on Sunday (am so excited).

I have not read this back, no time so apologies if it doesn't make any sense.

Enjoy your weekend.

40 school zones

People who drive 35kmh in a 40 school zone at 7am make my blood boil.

Back to it

I have just started back my early morning sessions this week after a 3 week break and it has already messed up my system. I am so hungry and the problem here is that I am heading off to playgroup and I am sure there will be a very yummy and full of fat morning tea.

I need to resist, I have just seen nice downward movement on the scales this week so I don't want to mess it up. Off to find some fruit, the little red grapes are so nice at the moment.

Looking forward to getting back into a routine, however our friends arrive next week so we will have to see how that goes.

Enjoy your week.
