It's strangely quiet at home today. The kids are back at school and Jon has gone away for business. I've not been in much today but it already feels much too quiet.
There is nothing more wonderful than a quiet house. Well, it is, until the kids grow up and leave home and the house remains quiet all the time, and then you go back to wishing there were kids around to breathe life back into the place.
